Stabilization under round-robin scheduling of control inputs in nonlinear systems

چکیده

We study stability of multivariable control-affine nonlinear systems under sparsification feedback controllers. Given a stabilizing feedback, in our context refers to the scheduling individual control inputs one at time rapid periodic sweeps over set inputs, which corresponds round-robin scheduling. prove that if locally asymptotically controller is sparsified via scheme and each action scaled appropriately, then corresponding equilibrium resulting system stabilized when sufficiently fast; mild additional conditions, local asymptotic stabilization can also be guaranteed. Moreover, basin attraction for scheduled remains same as original fast switching Our technical tools are derived from optimal theory, results contribute literature on switched regime. Illustrative numerical examples depicting several subtle features included.

Round robin scheduling - a survey

This paper presents a comprehensive survey on the literature considering round robin tournaments. The terminology used within the area has been modified over time and today it is highly inconsistent. By presenting a coherent explanation of the various notions we hope that this paper will help to obtain a unified terminology. Furthermore, we outline the contributions presented during the last 30...

Low Power Round-Robin Scheduling

Energy consumption is becoming a crucial issue in the design of digital systems especially when considering portable and embedded systems due to their operational dependency on batteries. Since the processor is a major source of energy consumption, energy-aware scheduling strategies that decrease the CPU speed when possible enable to achieve significant energy savings. In this paper, we study t...

Scheduling asynchronous round-robin tournaments

We study the problem of scheduling asynchronous round-robin tournaments. We consider three measures of a schedule that concern the quality and fairness of a tournament. We show that the schedule generated by the well-known “circle design” performs well with respect to all three measures when the number of teams is even, but not when the number of teams is odd. We propose a different schedule th...

Deficit round robin scheduling with adaptive weight control

Recently, I presented a paper, "Deficit round robin scheduling with adaptive weight control," coauthored with Ryan Zarick and Radim Bartos, at the 25th International Conference on Computer Applications in Industry and Engineering (ISCA-CAINE 2012). I highly recommend the ISCA-CAINE conference, as it includes quality papers from a broad spectrum of areas including: mobile applications, wireless ...

Improved Round Robin Scheduling for MIMO Cellular Systems

~Packet scheduling is investigated for the downlink of a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) cellular system. The conventional round robin scheduling (RRS) scheme does not utilize the benefits of multiuser environments, although it provides fair channel access chance to users. We propose an antenna-assisted round robin scheduling (AA-RRS) scheme to improve the conventional RRS scheme. The AA-...
